Dear Virtual Winds Friends,

Opens Subscriptions RC44 Series tournament 2oo9
born from collaboration between 3 sites of virtual view:
VskSailing.it, VirtualSailing.net and Vskipper.com.
The tournament will be disputed in 4 nights, each one organized by a different site.
4 Wednesdays of May from 6 / 05 to 27/05
Boat to use: RC44
Race fleet with groups composed of 12 skippers

INDIVIDUAL STANDINGS:
Each Skipper competes individually for the conquest of the tournament will be played 11 races:
3 races in the first 3 nights, 2 longer races and double scoring in the last evening. You can discard 3 races during the first 3 nights not in ' last.

STANDINGS FOR TEAM:
The Team will consist of a minimum of 3 Skippers to a maximum of 5. Il be taken into account only the first 3 places of the team and will not be available discards to the classification of teams.

It will allowed mixed teams from several (teams, clubs, sites).
I Team Blues, Nemesis and Girandoline
are already in the virtual waters of Vsk5 for the last fine tunings!

The GIVV 2009 with its load of emotions, hopes and, above all, fun , is starting again !

This regulation and structure are similar to the version of last year which, however, have fulfilled everybody.

The boats choosen are: VOR70_v2, IMOCA and SWAN45 for the coastal and ocean races; ACC Nadeo, OFFSHORE and the new Heol 7.4 for classic races.

The hunting Dariosilve, Kanaja and MAXX69 is opened

Sur la carte solo de la carte du monde (chargeable ici), Virtual-winds vous invite à tenter de réaliser le meilleur temps sur le tour du monde, en Imoca. Pour valider votre temps il suffit d'envoyer votre replay (prealablement compressé dans un fichier zip si possible) à l'adresse worldmap(at)virtual-winds.com. Les résultats seront publiés dans le forum La Taverne, ici. Le vainqueur sera celui qui aura le meilleur temps au moment de l'arrivée du dernier bateau dans la vraie compétition.

On the WoldMap solo race (downloadable here), Virtual-Winds is inviting to try to achieve the best time on a round the world race, with the Imoca boat. To validate your time you have to send your replay (is possible zipped) at worldmap(at)virtual-winds.com. Results will be published in La Taverne forum, here. The winner will be the one with the best time when the last boat will arrive in the real race.
