Welcome to the ORMA 6 championship !

*No referee other than VSK's. Fair-play is to be observed as much as possible...

*Meetings are on VWinds' chat, Open Club's lobby, 9.15 PM french time.

* Competition from Friday march 3th until sunday march 19th.

Friday March 3, 21.15.: round 1 and 2

Friday March 10, 21.15: round 3 and 4

Friday March 17, 21.15 : round 5 and 6

Sunday March 19, 17.15 : round 7a and 7b

Sunday March 19, 21.15 : round 8.

* The maps will be shown in the last week before competition begins.

* All regattas are in tactical mode, except rounds 7a and 7b, in simulation mode.

* Round 7a and 7b : These are 2 shorter regattas, for which we'll add times instead of sheer result. The sum of both regattas will give results of round 7. The groups for the final round are made calculated after round 7.

* Round 8 : In this final regatta you'll race against your closest opponents in rankings. Points count double!

* Rankings : As usual, winner of each round gets 1 point, 2nd gets 2 etc...At the end of round 7, your worst 2 results will be erased.

* The points of the final round can't be erased from the sum of your points. And a player finishing in first place of the 2nd group can't end up being better ranked than a player finishing last of first group!

* In case of tie between players, we'll consider their best results : number of 1st places, 2nd, 3rd, etc...

* DNS : (did not start) number of players / group + 2

   DNF : (did not finish) number of players / group +1

* Being late and Disconnections:

We'll all try to have fun together, and we'll wait until everything is ready, giving as many restarts as necessary. (just type "y" or "n"...) But once the start is given, and the line crossed, no more restarts.

Disconnections happen...Again, once the race has begun, unless all players agree, no more restarts. Let's just say that you hit a whale or lost the mast...

If the host himself gets disconnected before the 3/4 of the race, the race is restarted. Otherwise, the rankings remain what it was at the time of the disconnection.

* When registering, please tell me if you can host >15 players regattas.

* Tell me also what skin you use to race. Remember you're supposed to use a "real" skin you can download in Virtual-Winds. If you do, in order to optimize the connex, please use locators! Otherwise, choose a default VSK skin.
